Dream to Serve
Inspired by Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream”, Granville Exempted Village School's annual art show centered around this theme with the idea of “Dream to Serve”. So, Granville’s 3rd graders were given the job of coloring a picture with fabric crayons that was later ironed onto fabric. Each block was then pieced into a quilt top with other whimsical fabrics. Sewing the blocks to create the tops was done by some of Granville’s middle school students, which became a service project for them. These students were excited and proud to be creating the quilt art for MVOB – for such a great cause.
